Tested to remove sweat and body oil from the surfaces members actually touch — vinyl, rubber, coated yoga mats and stainless steel. Both scents in this bucket use the Wipex fitness formulations:

In independent lab testing by TURI at UMass Lowell, Wipex Lavender Fitness Wipes removed more than three times as much body oil as a traditional quat-based disinfecting wipe, and 43% more than a traditional citric-acid-based disinfecting wipe, averaged across vinyl, rubber, coated yoga mats and stainless steel.
In TURI's synthetic-sweat test at UMass Lowell, Wipex Lemongrass & Eucalyptus Fitness Wipes (the same formulation as EMPOWER) had the highest overall sweat removal of the four wipes tested, ahead of both traditional quat-based and citric-acid-based disinfecting wipes.

The Fresh Lavender and Lemongrass & Eucalyptus wipes are EWG Verified®. EWG Verified® means this product avoids EWG's list of unacceptable ingredients, fully discloses its ingredients (including fragrance) and is made under good manufacturing practices. The EWG Verified® mark applies to the wipes, not the packaging.

The cloth fibers used in Wipex Natural Gym Wipes are TÜV Austria-certified (OK COMPOST HOME and OK COMPOST INDUSTRIAL). This certification applies to the cloth substrate only, not to the finished wipe, its formula or its packaging. Please check local solid waste regulations regarding disposal. Non-compostable in California, as per state-specific regulations.

1. What’s the difference between the bucket and the refill?

The bucket is a portable dispenser pre-loaded with 400 wipes. The refill is a 400-wipe pack that reloads a Wipex® bucket you already own. Buy the bucket once, then reorder refills ($33.99 vs. $36.99 for a new bucket).

2. Where should I place buckets in my facility?

Give each training zone its own bucket so members don’t have to walk across the floor for a wipe: the weight floor, the cardio row, the studio and the stretching area. Because the bucket is portable, you can move it as your class schedule or floor layout changes.

3. Will Wipex® Natural Gym Wipes damage vinyl or upholstered equipment?
