What are body wipes used for?
Body wipes remove sweat, dirt and odor after workouts, while traveling, or whenever you need a quick refresh without access to water. Wipex® EMBODY Body Wipes are hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested, and made with plant-based cloth – a practical choice for active lifestyles and commuters.
What are alcohol wipes used for?
Alcohol wipes are multipurpose cleaning wipes for surfaces and equipment. They dry fast and leave no residue, which makes them great for electronics, workbenches, office touchpoints and gym equipment. Wipex® Isopropyl Alcohol Wipes come in 70% and 96% concentrations. They are for cleaning only and are not registered with the EPA or FDA. If in doubt, test on a small, inconspicuous area first.
What’s the difference between alcohol, antibacterial and disinfecting wipes?
They are made for different jobs. Alcohol (isopropyl) wipes are for cleaning surfaces and equipment. Antibacterial and antiseptic hand wipes are made for hands: Wipex® Hand Sanitizing Wipes use an antibacterial BZK formula that kills 99.9% of germs on skin. For disinfecting hard, non-porous surfaces, use an EPA-registered disinfecting wipe, such as the Wipex® EPA-Registered Disinfecting Wipes Roll, when used as directed.
What are the best wipes for gym equipment?
Look for wipes that remove sweat and body oil and are gentle on the materials members touch. Wipex® Natural Fitness Wipes are made with natural cleaning ingredients and are gentle on vinyl, rubber and coated yoga mats — and lab-verified compatible with each of them. In independent lab testing by TURI at UMass Lowell, Wipex Natural Fitness Wipes outperformed traditional quat-based disinfecting wipes at removing body oil from vinyl, rubber, coated yoga mats and stainless steel. If in doubt, test on a small, inconspicuous area first.
What are the best wipes for yoga mats?
Yoga mats absorb sweat and oils, so a wipe made for mats helps keep them fresh. Wipex® Yoga Mat Wipes are made with natural cleaning ingredients and essential oils on plant-based cloth, and remove dirt, sweat and odor. They’re gentle on vinyl, rubber and coated yoga mats — and lab-verified compatible with each of them. If in doubt, test on a small, inconspicuous area first.
Alcohol wipes vs disinfecting wipes: what’s the difference?
Alcohol wipes clean: they remove dust, oils and residue and dry fast, and they are not registered disinfectants. Disinfecting wipes are EPA-registered products that kill the organisms listed on their label on hard, non-porous surfaces when used as directed. Wipex® offers both: Isopropyl Alcohol Wipes for everyday cleaning and the EPA-Registered Disinfecting Wipes Roll for disinfection.
